Is Privacy really a myth?!

Before reading this, remember that NSA’s XKeyscore was leaked in 2013; only they know when it actually was made. My point is, such terrifying surveillance tool was being used around 2010; this is 2020, just imagine what they might have achieved. We can’t even imagine how far they have reached.

I won’t say stuffs like, what will google probably get out of your data or what worth data do you have that you are afraid of other people having it. Privacy is a personal choice.

It is well known fact that tech giants tends to know more about us. They have tracks of all our activities. They know what we are, what we do, what we want, what we talk, whom we talk. In short, they know more about us than we do. I have seen many people misunderstanding the term — privacy violation. For an example, google assistant activates when we say hey google. This means it is listening to everything, it just responds when it hear hey google. And this doesn’t void our privacy. We gave them permission to do so and they are doing it. That’s not privacy violation. Facebook, google can collect as much data as they can. We use THEIR service, they are the owner. They own our data, they can do whatever they want. If you don’t want them to have your data, simply don’t use their service. It’s that simple. You have no right to complaint about them having or using you data when you are using their service. Its like installing ransomware and blaming its owner for encrypting your files.

I wont say Privacy is a myth. I would say privacy violation is a myth.

Privacy violation isn’t a actual problem here. Actual problem raised when they were able to have every data and now they are trying to control us. And in this case, its not like simply don’t use their service if you don’t want to be get controlled like I said above about them having you data. People not using their services are also equally vulnerable as those who use. Social media isn’t just a social media anymore. Its a platform for brainwashing people. They are starting to control our mind.

When we are busy criticizing them for violate our privacy, they are up to something dark that we can’t even imagine. Simpsons predicted future, huh? Forget about future, Mr. Robot is showing dark present which will eventually seems to be normal if we didn’t do anything.

“You are not using facebook; Facebook is using you”
